Impressionist by nature, I’ve always enjoyed capturing the essence of the view before me.

Born and raised in Plattsburgh, NY, my inspiration is primarily the lush green environment I’ve grown up around, as well as the varied and aging architecture so typical of New England. Whether using wet or dry media, visual energy is always a priority for me.

Although I work primarily in acrylic paints, as their incredibly fast drying time allows me to work quickly, I also enjoy using a diverse mix of media together and separately. The juxtaposition between wet and dry media, as well as that between the natural and architectural subject matter, gives my work a literal and metaphorical texture that grabs and holds the viewer’s interest.
